SystemState backup on SBS 2011 Std. - How many hours would you allow it to run?

I'm doing a migration of SBS 2011 Std to Server 2019 following documents. This is for a 10 user domain. Exchange is on the SBS box but mail is being handled by o365. This is certainly not doing anything 'fancy' It's the lone server in the domain. No line of business apps on the server.

How can I ensure my eventlogs and syslogs are in english on a CHinese server?

We are centralising our syslog messages to a single syslog server globally, we have windows (2008, 2016) servers spread across the world, each with their own language so that local staff can manage the servers in their own language.


We are getting syslog messages in all languages but we need all syslog messages to be in english so that our analysis engines etc will work.

Optimize WSUS for work-from-home users

We self-host our infrastructure. Most users work from home using (more or less) poor Internet connections with VPN.

Besides MS E5 and third-party options, is there a (documented) method of getting over 150 users up to date via WSUS remotely?

I have approved some updates, but from the WSUS Dashboard there are still computers either not signed in for the past 30 days or updates needed by computers.
