Change Ring parameters' pre-set maximum limits for NIC

We have a Dell Poweredge R440 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Kernel - 5.4.0-80.90-generic).

The ethernet adapter is Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5720.

I need to increase the Ring buffer value to 4096 for both RX and TX. The issue is that the pre-set maximimums are not allowing me to change the values greater than them.

Ring parameters for eno2:

Cannot install alsa-driver, INCLUDE_VERSION_H cannot be found

I've decided to start using linux (because... why not?), so I went through all the installation process without any problem, the system ask for rebooting, so I let it does.

But when the machine restarted, my screen started turning on and off twice and this message appeared:

I want to control NVIDIA booting.

I had a lot of issues with NVIDIA and it is almost the reason of any linux-devil but i also need to run dual screens and Nouveau does not work out of the box and only the proprietary drivers work (unlike Manjaro, open-source drivers work out of the box).

The most important reason i want to block it from working is that it consumes 75% of my battery consumption alone ...

I thought earlier it was due to installed i386 architecture, when it in fact was because of the newest Ubuntu 20.04.10 Linux Kernel 5.11.0.25.27

Realtek wireless adapter not working after update to kernel 5.11.0-25

I am facing networking issue when kernel updated on my 20.04 LTS from 5.8.0-63 to 5.11.0-25. All worked fine in 5.8.0-63. After update, the wifi networking is not available at all. I am running a VMWare installation with a tp-link wifi usb stick.

I tried steps from here. I did sudo apt install linux-modules-extra-5.11.0-25-generic and sudo apt install --reinstall linux-generic.

BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter not working on kernel 5.11 and ubuntu 20.04

Right now it works with kernel 5.8 but in 5.11 (installed this morning along other upgrades) the wifi adapter doesn't get detected at all and apparently there are no fixes until the drivers gets patched (unless i'm mistaken). Do someone know if/when bcmwl-kernel-source will get patched?

Problem with installation of nvidia driver 340 after last update ubuntu 20.04

After yesterday update of Ubuntu 20.04, I am not able to install nvidia driver 340 and all Ubuntu systems with driver 340 crashed:( Has somebody met the same problem? Is there any simple and quick solution? All suggestions are very welcome.

Following an update, I can no long boot any of my VMs.

xl create lv-vm-debian01.cfg

gives the error

ERROR:  Can't find hypervisor information in sysfs!

I tried

mv /etc/grub.d/10_linux /etc/grub.d/50_linux

and then

update-grub2

That runs error free but still cannot boot VMs. Yes I rebooted.

Odd Text Flashing in Restart and Shutdown Menu List

I noticed the other day when I moved my mouse to the area to shut down or restart the computer the text (Shutdown, Restart) in the menu list flashes on and off making it impossible to select anything in the menu list.

Stuck on black screen with blinking cursor and mouse pointer after I force closed during upgrade

How to change TTY screen refresh rate?

Linux starts at 60 hz, but Xorg goes up to 144. Monitor has to restart itself which obviously takes ages. I guess it's a minor problem, but it might help me solve a couple more.

GPU is r9 390x, using AMDGPU drivers.
