How to use accented characters in /etc/fstab?

I would like to mount an SMB share, so I added an entry in /etc/fstab:

The mount point called "Rendetlenség".

When mount point is /media/Rendetlenseg, it works perfectly, however when it's /media/Rendetlenség (accented character: "é"), I get an error me ...

USB/SATA cable simply does not work on Ubuntu

I couldn't find an answer to my problem because all other similar questions have Ubuntu properly recognize the external HDD as a storage medium and assign it to /dev/sdb. If only it were this easy. It doesn't matter what HDD I plug into the cable, Ubuntu just does not recognize it. Last week, I had a boot loop because of %100 /var and freed some space and it was fixed.

/var/log has huge size because of snap

After fixing it (clearing /var), i hibernated the machine and today i tried to start it but it stayed at the hp logo.

Then i restarted via holding power.

It gave that error:

sshfs is mounted, but no file shared?

I am having some issue with sshfs. It used to work in the same condition. I mount Downloads directory from my desktop to my laptop.

Now when I try to do it, everything seems to work fine, except no file/dir is visible in the mointpoint directory.

I use the following command to mount:

sshfs desktopuser@xx.xx.xx.xx:/home/laptopuser/Downloads  /home/laptopuser/mnt/mnt

Cannot Write to Secondary Hard Drive

I have a secondary storage drive on my computer mounted at /media/user_name/Data. I get this error when trying to create a new directory:

user_name@cpu:/media/user_name/Data mkdir test

mkdir: cannot create directory ‘test’: Read-only file system

df -h shows it mount at:

/dev/sdc2       466G   77G  390G  17% /media/user_name/Data

I follow instructions from here to remount it as read/write ...

I have an ipod classic I bought used on ebay. When I plug it in to my xubuntu 20.04 machine, it mounts as read-only.

This is apparently happening because it is formatted as a journaled HFS+ drive. I found this answer which let me successfully mount the ipod manually with this command:

sudo mount -t hfsplus -o force,rw /dev/sde2 /media/joshua/ipod

I have a 1TB HDD. Completely formatted it to free space in the Disks program and made a 500GB EXT4 partition to have the other 500GB for Windows, just in case. Looked up guides and threads on how to make it mount itself automatically on boot so I added PARTUUID=ba69b10a-b371-4ca0-a2af-8cfd309e34a3 /hdd ext4 defaults 0 2 to the end of /etc/fstab.

This method WORKED for a few restarts until one reboot  ...

To give postgres more space, I mounted a ssd at: /mnt/fast_data/

What I'd like to accomplish is to give the postgres user ownership to the postgresql directory, so it doesn't say permission denied.
