Nokia 8 connected to USB, nor recognized

pw flag

Hello Ubuntu community,

I am quite new to Linux, so pardon me if this is a stupid question. I am using Ubuntu 20.04, and I have connected my Nokia 8 phone to an USB port to upload pictures. However: there comes no qustion on the phone if it is ok to exchange data, it looks like the computer does not see that the Nokia is connected.

What do I have to do ?

Best regards,

Dirk

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
