Headset msbc works in 22.10 but only csvd in 23.04 (pics)

since upgrading to 23.04 Bluetooth headset will only work in CSVD mode not in superior mSBC? Images demo 22.10 good behaviour 23.04 bad behaviour. These are both laptops with in built Broadcom chips, it also repeats on a desktop on 23.04 with broadcom dongle.

If you force mSBC in 23.04 in sound dropdown the audio mic drops to internal

here is the dmsg output

Can you run `bluetoothctl` in terminal before trying to switch the sound and see if any errors reported?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
