Is there a way to check which system was used to send mail?

I followed Sending html mails in Drupal 8/9 programmatically. I'm using the SMTP module to make sure that emails are sent via SMTP instead of using the PHP mailer. Emails sent via my website seem to have a higher spam score than when the ones sent directly from my SMTP server. I wonder whether my mails are being sent via SMTP or not.

Why isn't an image from the local domain shown with the explanation that, for security reasons, only images from the local domain are allowed?
ng flag

I'm running Drupal Core 9.3.7, with basically the default set up. The Basic HTML editor is CKEditor. If I include an image in a page, that image is not shown when I view the page; on inspection, it is actually there, but with the height="16" width="16" attributes, and a title that says:

This image has been removed. For security reasons, only images from the local domain are allowed

Why is my Permissions page empty?
ae flag

We are developing a Drupal 9 site on Acquia. When I go to /admin/people/permissions there are no permissions listed. But when I go to /admin/people/roles I can edit the permissions on a given role and see all the permission checkboxes as normal. /admin/people looks fine. Any clues as to what happened to the Permissions page?

Running tests for a module without requiring a full site installation
in flag

I'm building a custom module (for use on multiple projects) with code that relies on stuff from Drupal core and third party modules (e.g. extending classes, implementing interfaces, annotating as plugins, etc.). I would like to start writing tests for them, with unit tests to begin with. But so far, all of the resources point to putting the module in a Drupal installation and test in that setup, as if I ...

Drush 11 incompatible with drupal/recommended-project?
in flag

https://www.drush.org/latest/install/ indicates that Drush 10 is no longer supported. Drush 11 seems to be incompatible with drupal/recommended-project:9.* due to its dependency (via drupal/core-recommended:9.*) on symfony/http-client-contracts:2.5.0.

Is that intentional, or am I missing something?

Tokens are no longer replaced after upgrading
sg flag

I have a CKEditor field in my nodes. The content of the CKEditor field consists of text and some tokens. The replace tokens thing works quite well within the node. However, after updating from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9, it no longer replaces the tokens in my view.

My view simply outputs the entire content from the CKEditor again. For my view I simply set /node/%/v2-vv-authors as its path. The % is the  ...

View won't update unless caches are cleared
co flag

In a Drupal 9 site I've built a view that displays specific content for each day of the month (filtering by a date field).

The view shows the correct content for the admin user but not for anyone else unless the caches are flushed.

I've tried switching off the caching for that view, switching off view caching and switching off all caching on the site but none of that makes any difference.

Pass arguments to the entity_browser iframe url (modal)

I have a form I have a field of type Date Range, I also have another field of type entity_browser(modal) with a selection view widget.

The normal behavior when I click the Button of the entity browser field, is the opening of the modal, if we inspect the code it can be seen similar to this:

<form

Render block in a view twig template
cn flag

I need to render the output of a block within a view / node template (node--news--full.html.twig). Using {{ page.blockName }} does not return anything as {{ page }} within a node view simply returns a boolean (as expected within a node twig template).

Any ideas?

Looping through media item field in commerce product template

I am currently building a commerce shop. Usually, I use embed, entity browser and dropzone js, to make a product images collection available to shop administrators. This time, I used a Drupal media collection as a product variation field. And now I don't know how to loop through the fields array to retrieve the file uris for each image.

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
