"Give" an interface's public IP to another host with local IP
in flag

I have a machine (running openSUSE Leap 15.3) with multiple public IP addresses which serves as a gateway for a few additional hosts. I need to make one of the public IPs on the gateway act as though it belongs to one of the machines connected to it (traffic is transparently forwarded).

My iptables-save output currently is as follows (some irrelevant Docker rules are included but sensitive parts are red ...

Kubeadm with containerd cannot use locally loaded images

I'm trying to build kubernetes with containerd in bare-metal server (RHEL8).

There's no Internet connection so I manually downloaded needed images (e.g. k8s.gcr.io/kube-scheduler:v1.22.1) and loaded them using "ctr image import".

The images seem to be loaded successfully.

Domain joined WAP in DMZ

To date, I've only ever used ADFS for claims aware applications.

I'm now looking at using it for some non-claims aware applications.

I've read that the WAP server must be domain joined for this so that it can perform Kerberos constrained delegation.

I've previously been told that domain joined servers shouldn't be in the DMZ. Assuming that advice is still best practice, what is the most secure way of d ...

I've had this server in use for something like a week. Fresh Ubuntu 20.04 install, packages all installed through apt. I could receive and send mail outside of my IP just fine. Suddenly, receiving e-mail was not longer possible.

I checked the logs and soon noticed the error: unsupported dictionary type: mysql message, which meant that postfix was unable to check the recipient against my database. I chec ...

How to validate opendkim generated RSA keys

I'm trying to diagnose OpenDKIM validation errors (see this question). Way down in the belly of the beast, I'm at the point where I'm trying to make sure the keys generated are actually correct.

I'm generating my keys with opendkim-genkey -r -d example.com. This generates two files. One is an RSA private key (file default.private):

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
