View with translation not working as expected

cn flag

I have a view that filters content (films) by category and it works as expected.

I've added a new language to the site and some categories are not applied in both languages to the same content, but the view returns all the films that have that category in the main language, even if it doesn't have that category in current language.

For example, if I have a film with these categories in English:

  • Subs
  • Horror

And that same film has these categories in Spanish:

  • Horror

When I filter all films that have "Subs" in Spanish, I still get that film in my view because it has that category in english.

In Filter criteria I have "Content: Categories" and "Content: Translation language" but apparently both filters only get applied to "Film" and it doesn't check that categories are in that language too. I've tried to group those filters but still doesn't work...

Am I missing anything or is it just not possible to do what I want?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
