Display forums & books in admin theme?

is it possible to display some forums & books in administration pages?

i have some documentation regarding the content creation that should be kept private. also a 'behind the curtain' forum would be a great feature for me.

i want my to keep my front theme lightweight.

I don't understand exactly what you mean by themes here. It seems like you want some forums and books that can only be accessed by selected user roles. Does this thread answer your question regarding books? https://www.drupal.org/forum/support/post-installation/2019-06-09/access-control-based-on-roles-for-specific-book Does this answer your question about forum access? https://drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/225323/restrict-access-for-a-specific-forum-to-a-specific-user-role

i'm looking for both access & theme. your links are ok, Group module seems good. But a want these pages to display in admin theme, thus i don't have to include theses forums & books in my front theme.

To use multiple themes on different sets of pages, you can use a contributed module.

On Drupal 8 and 9, you can use the Theme Switcher module.

On Drupal 7, the module is ThemeKey.

These modules allow you to set up rules like "on this path, use this theme."

This will let you use an admin theme or any other theme for the forum, etc.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
