Will dropbear-initramfs work along with a keyfile in crypttab in Ubuntu (21.04)?

cn flag

/etc/crypttab

# <target name> <source device> <key file> <options>
crypt_root UUID=12989868-19fe-4834-90a8-f1bf13977745 /dev/disk/by-label/wopr_keys:/crypt_root_key luks,discard,keyscript=/lib/cryptsetup/scripts/passdev,initramfs,x-initrd.attach
crypt_swap /dev/disk/by-id/scsi-SSamsung_Portable_SSD_T5_4B1C18654321-part2 /dev/urandom swap,discard,cipher=aes-xts-plain64,size=256,plain

cryptsetup-initramfs package unlocks my root partition correctly with the specified keyfile from the device having label wopr_keys. I also have dropbear-initramfs installed and I was using it to unlock my root device before adding the keyfile. Now, during boot, if I remove the USB drive with the keyfile, boot hangs waiting for a password. Dropbear also starts, but when I connect to dropbear, I get a blank screen. It eventually returns an error that says: timeout waiting for askpass.

Can I make dropbear-initramfs work as a fallback to the passdev script from cryptsetup-initramfs? Where do I look for dropbear-initramfs logs?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
