Why is my Samba share only writable by root?

cn flag

I have set up a Samba share, and it is only writable by root. For example, I can only create a folder on that share with sudo:

~$ mkdir /mnt/SHARE/somedir
mkdir: cannot create directory /mnt/SHARE/somedir: permission denied
~$ sudo mkdir /mnt/SHARE/somedir
sudo: enter password
~$ ls /mnt/SHARE/somedir | grep some
somedir

What to do ? The weirdest thing is, it worked until yesterday without sudo, ad I didn't change anything !

Since the working and non working, did you remount it?

@NiKiZe yes : `sudo umount /mnt/SHARE && sudo mount /mnt/SHARE`, but this and a double reboot did not change anything.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
