Import PST - imoprted items gets to separate folder tree

eg flag

I have Exchange Hybrid environment. And i have to users with mailboxes in my MS365 tenant:[email protected] and [email protected] (we have two mail domains). Now, I need copy all content from user_src to user_dst mailbox. What i've done:

  1. exported pst from user_src
  2. Uploaded pst via Azcopy to O365
  3. Createed and started import job via compliance.microsoft.com This job was succefully complited

In mapping file "TargetFolder" field contains value "/"

And what I see: In user_dst mailbox I see all old folders and in addition I see new folder-tree with name "[email protected] (Primary)". And all imported elements were placed in this folder tree. This is not what I expected. I was expected all imported items gets to existed folders: inbox to inbox, sent - to sent etc.

How to import PST, so items get to existed folders? Any help will be appreciated.

This is by design that the file content will be imported to a folder than the mailbox itself. For the Exchange server, there is no such option to import pst like you said. Some scripts may do the job but that will also increase the complexity:)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
