Issue with self hosted wordpress - not able to see uploaded images

xk flag

I am having issues with my self hosted wordpress installation running on Ubuntu server, with Nginx. I am using buddyboss plugin with buddyx theme.

The issue is that when a user uploads an image, we can only see a link to it in his profile, but the image is blank. When I open the user's page, the console is showing me an error message 404:

/wp-content/uploads/bb-platform-previews/b9014e776e469ca6dae702955bf32e95/6332ffcc2f894fb4fb0db49422a86bec [HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 225ms]

If I navigate on the server to the location mentioned above, I can see a file 6332ffcc2f894fb4fb0db49422a86bec that cannot be accessed from ftp.

The permission for the folder wp-contents is 755 with the user www-data.

I just noticed that when I upload a normal post, the image is present, the only issue is when I publish a picture in the photo section of the Buddyboss platform. The interesting thing is if I disable the Buddyboss plugin, whenever I click on the photo button I get a message telling me

Oops! That page can’t be found.

I'm looking for ways to troubleshoot what's happening.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
