I have 2 offices using 2 firewalls with the same brand/model with similar firewall policies. For 1 of the office, users have prob connecting to email

I have 2 nearby offices using 2 firewalls with the same Fortinet brand/model with similar firewall policies (same building , same ISP). For 1 of the office, users have problem connecting to email. The other office works fine.

Both offices connect to same remote email server.

Error in outlook 'reported error (0x800CCC1A): 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail administrator or ISP for further assistance.'

I have tried setting outlook settings using SSL or without. Also same issue. tried restarting mail server services also same. Email vendor could not find the issue.

It only happened a day after i switch my DNS hosting to cloudflare. Cloudflare support says their proxy do not filter and will bypass email packets.

Currently waiting for Fortinet support for their assistance.
