How to install domain joined printer on print server via powershell on a non domain joined computer?

ai flag

My experience is that so far ANYTHING I tried the installed printers print properties / Feature / Color: section is always No unless the client computer is on the domain and I install it so it looks like "printername on printserver.domain.local"

We use Universal Printing Driver 6 PCL (7.0.0) because that is what the package was made for.

If we use the printer's unique driver, it works.

I find no way to set the feature above to Yes. I can make it look like it is color (set-printerproperty / set-printconfiguration) yet the prints are coming out BW.

Neither IPP, nor TCP/IP, nor LDP worked. Always the same Feature / Color: No. Prints BW. The prints go through the server (showing up in both the client's and server's queue. Properties on client and server. Not identical.

Under Device Settings if i set Device Type from auto detect to color, it LOOKS like it's color but yet again the prints are BW. Any suggestions? I tried so many things I don't even know what's left to try. Thanks!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
