Can’t update firmware on LTO5 drive (IBM Ultrium 5 HH) with SAS interface INVALID MICROCODE FILE

I’m struggling in trying get newer firmware on LTO5 drive (Ultrium 5 HH by IBM) - when i’m trying update firmware it fail on me with error „INVALID MICROCODE FILE”.

Error happen at around 80% of progress bar. I tried hold eject button for 15 seconds to reset it.

File is downloaded by IBM Tape Diagnostic Tool - I’m selecting FW 1 version.

I checked on two separated computers with different HBA card - exactly same result.

Curent firmware: D8D5 I’m trying to load: LTO5 H977.sas_hh.ro

I’m starting loosng idea what else i could do. It pass success on LTFS rediness check.

Any idea would be great help
