Monitoring/Alerting for DNS changes in Google Cloud

I am trying to set up alerting where I receive an email when there is a change to a DNS zone that is hosted with Google Cloud. The zone has a very low rate of change, so noise is not an issue and I am not very particular as far as what event can trigger the alert. For example, I can use the use of a dns.resourceRecordSets.delete method name as a trigger. Or I can generate an alert whenever a particular A record is changed. The issue is - I cannot figure out how to configure these alerts in Cloud Console. When I try to configure alerts, I see thresholds for metrics like "Managed DNS Zone - Log entries", but there is nothing related to monitoring changes to the zone or particular records. Monitoring log entry counts is useless to me.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
