Is there a tool to conveniently mount&inspect aws ebs volumes?

cn flag

I am currently in the process of cleaning up some unused EBS volumes in a quite messy AWS account.

Before deleting the volumes I want to make sure that nothing vital is being deleted, so I occasionally need to mount the volume and see what is inside.

The problem is that the volumes have not been labelled and in most cases I don't even know what file system is supposed to be used when mounting the volumes.

So I was wondering if there is a tool that could automatically inspect&mount the ebs volumes of an AWS account, without having to go through the hassle of having to mount the volumes manually. It would also be nice if the tool could automatically try to figure out the filesystem type used on the volume

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
