Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Updating "Available" Win32apps

in flag

We currently have a number of Win32apps set as "Available" to end users, such as Chrome, Notepad++, and VS Code. I'm looking to package updates occasionally and have the app update on devices that have it installed already. In SCCM, I could make an app available, and then create a Collection based on installed apps and deploy again as "required" to those that already have it. So the initial install is optional, but once installed, SCCM would keep it up to date (assuming I kept re-packaging updates).

How can I achieve this with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)? I know I can create dynamic device groups, but I can't seem to find installed apps as a criteria. I could write a script to auto-update a static group using Azure Automation, but that seems overkill.

And Microsoft's supercedence documentation seems to say that supercedence on "Available" apps will only make the update available, not required.

Is there a built-in method for forcing Available apps that are already installed to update to the new packaged version?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
