Nginx + PHP FPM + EFS AWS

de flag

I'd like to know what your opinion is, today I have an ec2 that use nginx wwwroot locally but I want to use the same files on several other ec2 machines, I thought of using AWS EFS to centralize them, but I did several surveys and I saw many people complaining about latency, performance.... I'm afraid of migrating and getting lost and causing discomfort when using the application.

Remembering that I have a lot of small php files.

Can you help me?

Thanks

Sorry, we cannot help. We don't know your performance requirements. We cannot guess the file access pattern. The only way to get a good idea is to follow principles in https://serverfault.com/questions/384686/can-you-help-me-with-my-capacity-planning. That is, benchmark your system if the setup meets your requirements.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
