Unknown geolocation system settings OTP error

es flag

If you use a vpn or tunnel browser traffic through additional hops to destination. Web apps that use time sync for security or other features may fail. The solution is changing OS system time to match tunnel exit geolocation time. Normally this works for time sync sensitive web apps and OTP verifications. Recently some OTP verification still fail with geolocation of tunnel exit matching OS system time. DNS is opendns and google Some cases the problem persist without solution. Some cases a 2nd or 3rd try done rapidly (enter active generated OTP within 5 seconds from request for OTP)

Is there a way to pull bios system time, that could be being utilized now by web apps that use OTP verification ? Are some third party DNS servers somehow revealing ip of originating request circumventing ufw style firewall settings ?

It's possible some sites are using local time, some are using UTP. What happens if you set your time correctly, but then change your system time zone to the time zone of the VPN exit portal?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
