vsFTP not following linux groups for writing

fr flag

vsFTP seems to not obey Linux (Ubuntu 16) groups for write permission.
I have 2 user accounts: "ftp_user", "ftpuser". Both are in "ftp" group. Both accounts are chroot, there home directories are /ftp. Neither has shell access.

/ftp
   ./folder1
   ./folder2
   ..
   ...

directory: drwxrwxrwx+ nobody ftp ftp
sub-directory: drwxrwxrwx+ ftp_user ftp folder1

Issue at hand:
only ftp_user can write to the folder, or create sub directories etc. ftpuser can not. Even through they are both in the ftp user group?

Configuration settings of interest:

local_enable=YES
write_enable=YES
chroot_local_user=YES
virtual_use_local_privs=YES
allow_writeable_chroot=YES
chroot_list_enable=YES
chroot_list_file=/etc/vsftpd.chroot_list

Not sure if this would be better in Linux Group or here... Please advise.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
