accounting Squid clients using freeradius

fr flag

sorry I'm a very newbie in freeradius, and I try to create a VPN server using squid and check user sessions using freeradius. everything is ok, except the accounting and checking the sessions.

my goal is to limit any usernames session to only can connect with 2 devices at the same time

I configured a radius server on a server and configured a squid server on another VPS

my configuration details

Servers OS : Centos 7 Freeradius : Version 3.0.13 Squid : Version 3.5.20

it's connected and check the username/password with the radius server but the issue is the accounting didn't work

I enable SQL module at mods-enables and enable SQL in accounting section of sites-enables/default but radacct didn't updated and its always empty

based on some search I enable read-groups in SQL module and set Acct-Interim-Interval := 60 for the group where the users are and its sent with the Access-Accept to squid server and accounting still didn't worked and nothing happened

 Sent Access-Accept Id 34 from xx.xx.82.205:1812 to xx.xx.144.172:47574 length 0
(2) Acct-Interim-Interval = 60

please can somebody clearly explain to me how can in enable Accounting and control sessions on freeradius

thanks for your helps

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
