Oracle DB "The pipe has been ended" error when Connection Pooling is enabled

mz flag

I have a problem with an Oracle instance when connecting to it, it throws a "The pipe has been ended" error. The server that connects to the db can create quite a lot of connections when processing some jobs (not oracle jobs). I thought that the pool might be running out (as it was originally 100), and that is what caused the problem, but I increased the Max Pool size to 300, without success. When connection pooling is disabled, the error seem to disappear.

Normally what I've found is that this type of error is more network related? If anybody can give me some direction of what to look at. My google searches does not really provide me with actual issues, and it seems that nobody link connection pooling with this type of error.

One other thing needs mentioning is that we did move from Oracle 11g to Oracle 19.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
