Dovecot virtual mailbox change domain of mailbox

Ifa

I have a virtual mailbox (Maildir) like user@111.com, which now needs to be moved to user@222.com because of a change in domain.

Reading about, I have found Dovecot "import" and "move" (or "copy"), but I am not sure what's the difference between import and copy for example, and which would be best to use.

The goal is to transfer all the emails and folder structure of [email protected] to [email protected], as if it were simply renamed.

How would I go about doing it?

Without details, this question cannot be answered. Could be anywhere from changing nothing at all (at least in Dovecot) to a laborious migration task. A good starting point would be examining configuration (`doveconf -n`), checking where references to the domain are used.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
