Postfix : change the domain receiver before sending email

br flag

As a company, we have a website where we can create an account, and then we can send a theme newsletter.

Sometimes, they make errors when typing their email address like @hotmil.com instead of @hotmail.com ...

I would like, if it's possible, to automatically correct the domain name, like making a file (like virtual domain) where I add : hotmil.com hotmail.com ...

Is there any trick to do this?

Why bother? You can't possibly guess all typos. if people enter their address incorrectly, tough luck.

I have achieved a satisfactory reduction in complaints rooted in typos in the domain by simply rejecting all email addresses for which at the time of entry a lookup for MX records failed to produce any well-formatted record.

**Don't do this.** What if somebody really creates a domain `hotmil.com` and somebody really want to use it for their mail?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
