Authentication failure sending mail using postfixadmin users

de flag

I have setup a new mail server on Ubuntu 20.04 and using Postfixadmin so I can manage multiple mail domains.

The initial setup using unix users worked fine for sending and receiving email. However after installing Postfixadmin and using this tool to add users, I can no longer send emails. Receiving works fine.

I used this guide for setup: https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/postfixadmin-create-virtual-mailboxes-debian

This is from the mail.log:

Can anyone give any tips on how to track down the error? I don't have much experience running mail servers so learning as I go!

Thanks

Please provide your Postfix configuration using commands shown in the [tag description](https://serverfault.com/questions/tagged/postfix). Add them [into the question](https://serverfault.com/posts/1101662/edit). You may mask private details that identify you (globally routable IP addresses, DNS names), but make sure it stays consistent.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
