xrdp no login possible for AD-users

id flag

i have set up a Fedora 37 Gnome box, as well as Fedora 32 Gnome box and a Fedora 37 KDE box (this one upgraded since about 5 years)

All PCs are part of a AD-domain, login with AD-users on local Desktop works fine, also login with AD-user via SSH works fine on ALL PCs.

But when it comes to log on via XRDP, it is only working with the "old/upgraded" Fedora 37 KDE box.

On Fedora 37/32 Gnome access via XRDP is only possible for a local user account, not for a AD-user.

The

  • user profile got created,
  • .vnc-folder in user profile got created
  • sesman file got created in the /.vnc folder
  • when testing the XRDP, no user is logged in to the local Desktop at all

with IPv6 enabled (tries to connect with IPv6 as first), i got [![enter image description here][1]][1]

with IPv6 disabled, i got [![enter image description here][2]][2]

im xrdp.log

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
