How do troubleshoot an AD Drive Mapping policy?

hn flag

I have some users in the shipping department that aren't getting automatic updates to their Drive mappings upon reboot or fresh login. H for example is supposed to be mapped to \server\boxes

but the old servers are still mapped on quite a number of systems and I have to fix it manually. On the other hand, the majority of users aren't experiencing this.

The policy is linked in the Users OU.

I can tell you that

gpresult /z

definitely shows the policy applied:

Applied Group Policy Objects
-----------------------------
MandatoryMappings

I can also tell you that the problem does not seem to be occurring if the user logs into a different system. It only seems, perhaps, to affect user's primary PCs.

What else can I do to understand what the problem could be?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
