SSSD versus direct ldap IPA

cn flag

I'm trying to setup so my sudoers in nsswitch.conf is using sss and not ldap directly. However, when I try to switch this and run a sudo I get following error:

Error userX is not allowed to run sudo in hostx. This incident will be reported.

If I add the host is added to IPA manually in the DNS, this is not a problem.

Question: Why do I get this problem when I switch to use sss rather ldap directly ?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
