We have configured some new Ubuntu VMs to use our Active Directory via sssd, but I am experiencing problems:
When logging in via ssh with password-based authentication, it asks for my password, then immediately closes the connection. If I repeat the same command again, the login is successful (I have reproduced this a couple of times by now and the password is correct when logging in the first time).
After successfully logging in with a password, I can use my SSH key as per usual for a couple of minutes (some kind of cache I presume), then after ~10 minutes is becomes impossible again until I login with my password twice.
Here's some logs that I expect to be relevant:
ssh -o PubkeyAuthentication=no -o PreferredAuthentications=password -vv myusername@domain.local@SERVERNAME.domain.local ─╯

when I tried to login the first time, but then why does it work the second time?
