Audio/Microphone driver issues ubuntu

ax flag

I have been plagued with audio problems on my Lenovo Yoga C930-13IKB. I am currently running ubuntu 21.04. I have tried every solution I could find from sudo alsa force-reload, running through https://itsfoss.com/fix-sound-ubuntu-1304-quick-tip/, to re-installing Ubuntu fresh (in case I messed something up real bad).

After much effort, I have managed to get one of my speakers (center out of l-r-c) working and the headphone jack working by playing with soundcard drivers.

I am currently trying to use hdajackretask to try to get my internal microphone working and possibly the rest of my speakers.

My computer is dual-booted with windows and everything works in windows. So my question is this...

Is there a way to determine the pin-out configuration on the windows side and port that to the ubuntu side? Is there some other way to figure out what pin the mic and speakers are connected to?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
