Is it possible to write a MIDI driver for an HID device?

mx flag

I have the Mad Catz Wireless Fender Mustang Pro-Guitar for Nintendo Wii. The wireless USB dongle is recognised as an HID device. The guitar controller has a MIDI port and can be wired as a MIDI device.

My objective is to write a driver that can make the HID device function like a MIDI controller. Is that even possible?

Are there examples of such a device that I can base myself on?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
