gnocchi-api service

gh flag

When I install gnocchi-api on Ubuntu 20.04, the service is not created. Instead apt reports "Will not register gnocchi endpoint this time (no user request for it)" but I cannot find any way to request the endpoint.

The problem is that openstack guide requests this service to be restart and of course ubuntu says that the service does not exist.

I had the same problem years ago and never managed to get ceilometer working and I see it is still not fixed. Any ideas on what to do?

Can I confirm something here? Your ultimate goal is to install the ceilometer telemetry service, yes? Do you already have the requisite open stack and MySQL components installed and ready to go?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
