Remote Dual Booting

cn flag

I manage an IT lab of 37 computers with dual booting (Dell Optiplex with Windows 10 LTSC and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on separate drives). If Wake-On LAN from another PC: default boot via Grub is Windows, Ubuntu needs on-site presence. Is there a way to remotely select a desired OS to boot? Either the PC is powered off, or a reboot on any of the two systems is needed. Many thanks, Alex

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
