No Sound in Ubuntu after upgrade: "Dummy Output" and nothing else to select

fi flag

I upgraded to the latest version of Ubuntu (20.04) and since then I have not been able to hear any audio.

In settings it said that my output device is Dummy Output and there was no other device that I could select.

I have tried many commands and I have reinstalled alsa and pulseaudio and also reloaded pulse audio but I still cannot hear any sound and my output device is still on Dummy Output

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
