KDE Discover on Ubuntu LTS 20.04 You have no authorization to execute this operation

cn flag

Note: This is not a duplicate. None of the other solutions work for me

Ok, I am runnning Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with Xfce installed through apt. I wanted to install kde discover so I ran the following commands:

sudo apt list | grep discover # To find the correct package name
sudo apt-get install plasma-discover

Now the problem is everytime i click on install button it says You have no authorization to execute this operation. It comes as a simple grey bubble inside the window. I have tried installing several other applications such as blender, inkscape but nothing installs and fails with the same grey bubble. I run the kde discover app through the panther launcher that I had to somehow compile from sources. Is there any solution to this problem? (Notice: I do not want to install kde but only plasma-discover)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
