Disable Window Pairing

cn flag

I regularly snap windows to the edges of my screen, so I have two open each of which take up 50% of the space. The problem is, when snapping a window to 50% if there's another window also snapped to 50% on the other side they will end up 'paired' together.

Then, if I want to minimise one of the two windows, it minimises both of them at once. Or if I try to select one of them from the taskbar, it maximises both of them.

Is there any way to disable just this pairing behaviour when selecting/minimising windows?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
