Installed google remote desktop now I need password for everything

jp flag

I installed google remote desktop extension in firefox. I couldn't really get it to work, when I logged on it was only black. I didn't tinker with it because I saw that every time I did anything at my physical computer, I had to enter root password. initially I saw this error:

https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/614792/authentication-is-required-to-create-a-color-profile-on-ubuntu-20-04

But that fix just made more problems so I undid it. Now with my KVM switch every time I select my ubuntu machine I enter my password 2x, then if I change any setting or mount a usb drive etc I have to enter my password.

for reference I have a second ubuntu machine that I don't have to do any of this, and I didn't until I installed Google remote desktop.

Installing google remote desktop triggered something in ubuntu, any ideas on how to get it to go back without reinstalling everything?

Thanks

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
