Unable to locate package pi-bluetooth on Ubuntu 21.04

in flag

I am trying to install pi-bluetooth in my ubuntu computer as shown here but I fail to do that. When using the command sudo apt install bluetooth pi-bluetooth bluez blueman bluez-utils (bluetooth, bluez, and blueman had been installed), I get this:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package bluez-utils is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However, the following packages replace it:
  bluez:i386 bluez

E: Unable to locate package pi-bluetooth
E: Package 'bluez-utils' has no installation candidate

Here is my information:

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 21.04
Release: 21.04
Codename: hirsute

Can someone help me please ?

Please add the complete output of `dpkg --print-architecture`. i386 won't work on Pi hardware. Um, is this real Pi hardware? Or a VM? If it is real Pi hardware, add the Pi model to your question, too.

the output that you need: amd64. I installed Ubuntu in my pc which normally has Window 10. So, I think it is not a VM but a real Pi hardware. What do you mean about "add the Pi model to your question" ? Thanks

[Raspberry Pi](https://www.raspberrypi.org/) is a specific set of hardware. If you are running *anything* else --including an amd64 PC-- the you're not running a Pi, and that `pi-bluetooth` is utterly useless to you. That package is designed to run on that hardware only; it won't run on anything else. We went through this with your previous question about the same package on WSL. Your wish to use that specific package for your project *without* the required hardware seems likely to be fruitless and frustrating.

You seem to be asking another [XY Question](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XY_problem). We don't know your original problem (your project). We only know that your desired solution (the `pi-bluetooth` package) is likely to be impossible with your current approach.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
