Is my my laptop led broken?

vn flag

when I turn on my laptop, at first the screen shows the trademark of my laptop and then the logo disappears and only a black screen remains. When I connect an external monitor to my laptop, it shows everything. I was wondering what is wrong with the laptop. Is the led broken, or something is not correct with the graphic card driver or what? I really appreciate your answers. Thanks.

hi @Ali. What are you running? Looks more like a driver problem. Can you post more information? Is the external screen resolution same as laptop resolution?

Hi dear @jpbrain and thank you for your response. My laptop screen properties is: 15.6" HD 10-point multitouch display (1366x768) 16:9 widescreen and the monitor I'm using is a 21 inch HD 1920x1080

Then. if you go to settings -> Displays with both monitors connected/enabled you should be able to check and configure the correct resolutions on each one. Have you done this?

@jpbrain Yes, I tried that. but as I change the resolution or any other setting option, nothing seems to change. The built-in screen of the laptop remains black and shows nothing.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
