Asus ROG G14: Laptop display, network & trackpad not working, in dual boot ubuntu 20.04 (win 10 works fine)

ca flag

System: Asus ROG G14 laptop. Been using dual boot for a few months, after a BIOS + Win10 update grub disappeared. Managed to get grub back (this helped) but now my screen is frozen on Republic of Gamers splash when loading ubuntu. I can login on an external HDMI display but network (no wifi, bluetooth) and trackpad aren't working.

Output of lspci -knn | grep Net -A3; rfkill list (also shown with Network menu in settings): enter image description here

General information when loading with secure boot: enter image description here

I can still load Windows 10 where everything still seems to be working normally.

Thanks in advance!

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
