Corsair HS60 SURROUND, microphone not detected

tr flag

I'm trying to set my HS60 Surround up so that I can use VoIP on Ubuntu, however so far the device has just not been detected by Ubuntu. The headphones themselves worked fine straight away, with no additional configuration.

I also know that the microphone is working fine because when I boot into Windows, it is working. I have tried a few things on Linux, but I can't seem to get it working.

The microphone does not show up as input device. When I run hdajackretask I can see that the jack exists and is detected as a microphone. hdajackretask screenshot.

Does anyone have any advice on how I could go about getting this device to be detected?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
