Fix login display manager mix up?

rs flag

I'm running the latest KDE on kubuntu 20.04 focal. My problem is my login screen, I have it properly configured using SDDM and upon first boot, everything works great. The problem is after the screen suspends and the system locks, after waking a completely different login screen is shown with a "Switch User" button. Upon pressing the switch user button my original login screen through SDDM appears. I do not know what window manager brings up the second login screen as i didn't configure it and do not recognize it. My default display manager is set as SDDM and i have quite a few others available, however I'm not sure what other configuration or file would be bringing up the second screen. Problem #2 is, after using the switch user button and entering user credentials the system begins to load, and load, and load going nowhere till i eventually do a hard reset on the system. I've exhausted my searches everywhere and have yet to find a similar issue or a solution. Where do I even begin, with so many variables at hand? any and all information is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
