Does anyone know of a good captive portal wifi package available within Ubuntu?

The one I've been supporting and following for several years was just orphaned. The developer was trying to work strictly on a donation basis, and he's finally thrown in the towel. He just put out an announcement that he's freezing development, archiving his work at: https://github.com/GraseHotspot/grase-www-portal/ and https://gitlab.com/grase/grase-www-portal/ and granting anyone permission to fork new development from those sources.

I don't have the expertise to finish it, I'm better as a beta tester.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
