Ubuntu in Raspberry Pi

Downloaded Ubuntu LTS yo my Raspberry Pi 4B with the raspberry pi imager to a 8GB SD card. After initial start asked it for usename, i tried ”hostname” and press enter, then it ask for a password, but it was not possible to enter anything. I tried serveral times, but have same result.

The password does not show (in case anyone is looking over your shoulder), which is why you're asked to enter it twice.. Are you sure this isn't confusing you? (ie. you're expecting it to show?)
