How to prompt maximum resolution beyond 1080?

in flag

Ubuntu 20.04 installed on a Gateway SX2370-UR30P. Originally connected to a 1080p TV. Now connected to a 4K monitor via HDMI. Max resolution shows 1080.

What can be done to prompt / configure higher resolutions?

If your machine has an AMD A6-3600 APU, you can't. 1080p is the max resolution supported. 4K didn't exist when this chip was created.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
