sz flag

Hi i use linux and i am searching for a software or a way that save history of my wi-fi usage. to know which program used wifi and how much data it sent or received if i know where it sent it will be cooler.

++++++++ second question is : the reason i want that is that for privacy i have some un-trusted software and i am not good enough to look on the codes so i want a software to tell me if a software ever used internet to send any data ?

and other wise if there is any way or software to control what program can use internet

END +++++ and just a explanation i am not upset it is just i so sensitive about my data so i really care about my privacy

+++thanks for hellping

Look for `nethogs` or `wireshark`.

This isn't a Linux support site (SE *Unix & Linux* provides that service) so why ask here? What OS & release are you using? Also as some products that are on-topic for this site only use *snap* packages the product/release details tell us what restrictions you have available.

I don't see any indication the OP is not using Ubuntu Linux. Why not give people the benefit of the doubt?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
