Audio Chipset Not Detected/No Audio - Acer Chromebook CB3

in flag

I recently installed Ubuntu on an old Chromebook I had laying around, as I needed a laptop to do some basic web surfing in remote locations where a decent computer is not an option. After installing and testing, it seems everything BUT the speakers work, some research showed that this was a common issue (specifically with this model and some other Intel Bay Trail family models).

My model is the CB3-111, and other solutions from the internet either didn't work or couldn't be viewed (R.I.P. G+)

Let me know if any more info is needed, -Flub

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
