How to get calendar event (both local and remote)

us flag

I have many different calendars (both remote and local) synced in my gnome calendar. I'm trying to get all of today's events, sort through the unimportant ones and run scripts accordingly (example: run script "do not disturb [on] during meetings").

I could tediously get all of them individually, yes, but if they are already loaded and synced through the gnome calendar, why not run a local query. Something like:

# in terminal
gnome-calendar get today --all
gnome-calendar get/set [timespan] [calendar ID]

I know about ~/.local/share/evolution/calendar, but my remote calendars seem to be missing.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
